Shallow-Water Towing Tank

This facility is intended for testing ship and offshore structure models at variable depths, in calm water and in waves.

Tank dimensions: length: 200m width: 16m depth: 0~1.75m The Tank has a towing carriage enabling to test models of up to 10m in length (barge trains of up to 20m) at speeds from 0.1m/s to 6m/s. The available wavemaker generates waves of 1~10m in length and 0.02~0.35m in height.
