High-Speed Seakeeping Tank

Intended for resistance and seakeeping tests of dynamic-lift high-speed craft models of up to 3.5m in length weighing up to 200kg.

length: 250m width: 4m depth: 2.5m Equipment: a carriage for towing models of up to 3m in length with speeds of 0.2~12m/s, two wavemakers for head and following seas, instrumentation for measuring model resistance, kinematic parameters, air-cushion static and dynamic pressures, forces on individual components of the model, controls for individual details of the model, and a video system.
