Research & Production Division


 

Research & Production Division was established in 1989 by merging of the prototype experimental workshops and test equipment division in order to provide experimental research of main KSRI divisions with test facilities and instrumentation.

The Division staff includes highly professional experts, among them 6 Masters of Sciences, which have experience in designing, developing and putting into operation special-purpose equipment and instruments for investigations on aero- and hydrodynamics, structural strength, ship acoustics, physical signature surveillance.

 

The Division Includes:
  • Design Department

  • Prototype Experimental Workshops

Experimental Facilities of the Division:

1. Over 300 machines in the following shops:

  • machining shop;
  • fitting-&-adjusting shop;
  • pressing shop;
  • heat treatment shop;
  • radio assembling shop;
  • galvanic shop;
  • casting shop;
  • painting shop, etc.



2. Certified calibration stands, devices and instruments.

The Division offers:

  • Research equipment, including for hydrodynamic testing

  • Purpose-designed equipment adapted to particular environments, including for industrial weighting, medical hardware, etc.

  • Industrial equipment for the production of various consumer goods
  • Devices for automatic data acquisition systems

  • Dedicated micro-computer-based measurement instrumentation and sensors for various service conditions

  • Mechanical parts, including nonferrous castings
